PH123Where Tradition and Innovation merge.

The company´s founder Georg Nolte first produced polishing discs in the Westphalian town of Rheda back in 1923.

In the 1930s, the company switched to constructing furniture after taking over a small furniture factory in Delbrück, a second factory was then founded in Brilon in 1937.

Georg Nolte´s son Konrad then took over the company´s management in 1945 with the intent to develop Nolte even further.

In 1947 Nolte considered the time ripe to expand. Konrad Nolte implemented a revolutionary concept into his factories, becoming the first furniture manufacturer to utilize assembly lines in their production process. His pioneering efforts revolutionized the entire furniture industry.

In 1996 Nolte was the first to introduce industrial chipboard recycling facilities to Germany, making a point of preserving vital resources.

Today, the Nolte Group consists of eight companies who manufacture solely in Germany with a total of approximately 3,000 employees.
